Wollangarra’s response to Coronavirus [COVID-19]

Our response is to change at any time, based on the dynamic circumstances regarding COVID-19

Updated 17 March 2020

Wollangarra is committed to the health and safety of all young people, staff members and visitors. In line with Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) guidelines regarding COVID-19 and Wollangarra’s ethos of social responsibility we have decided to cancel the upcoming School Holiday programs.

If you have booked a young person on one of those programs and we are yet to contact you please contact us to organise a refund.

Whilst there are no changes to other programs at this stage, we are closely monitoring Victorian DHHS updates regarding COVID-19 and will be making decisions relating to future programs closer to the date.

Wollangarra has introduced significant measures to ensure social distancing and good practise hygiene within the workplace. Additionally, in order to maintain a safe environment, those who visit Wollangarra will be screened and asked to abide by these. Entry to Wollangarra will be refused for anyone who feels unwell, shows flu-like symptoms, is in a high risk category, has been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case or has recently travelled overseas.

For the most up to date information, we draw our response from the Victorian DHHS website who has posted several resources: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/collections/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-resources. The Victorian Government has a dedicated Coronavirus Health Information Line for you to call as well should you need to: 1800 675 398.

Thanks to the Wollangarra community for its ongoing support and if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via email, or at the homestead.

Kind regards,
